Characteristics of the leathers

The uniqueness of askin leather is found in all of its characteristics. The natural fats used during the tanning process gives to askin leather a softness that is extremely pleasing to the touch, and thanks to the high capacity for transpiration, help keep the leather constantly dry. The surface of the uppers is treated excusively with natural waxes. It has a simple and natural look, preserving the small imperfections that characterise real leather. The complete absence of synthethic chemical products on the surface leads to transpirability and a greater absorbtion of moisture.
