Basic clinical testing and the first tests on patients

The University first performed laboratory tests to verify the effective absence of allergens specified in the literature.
Successively, patch tests were performed on patients using leather samples, and only at the last were test performed with footwear prototypes on patients affected by allergic contact dermatitis, either presently or in the past.
More precisely, the patch tests were performed on 70 patients for 8 products (those relative to the pre-tanning phase, dying and greasing, and with 3 water-based glues), and on a further 10 patients allergic to chrome for samples of leather (chrome tanned, chrome and vegetable tanned, and entirely vegetable tanned). The use tests (performed on volunteers) have shown that the use of askinshoes has resulted in a consistent improvement in the clinical situation of the patients, guaranteeing to all tested a elevated level of comfort.
